Application Process

A non-refundable $100 Application fee is due in order to start the application process. If the student is accepted, the application fee will count towards the tuition cost. Payment may also be submitted by check to the address below.

Upon submission of payment, the student may continue the application process by recording a video audition and submitting it in the Application Form linked below.
Videos must show the performer’s entire body and be adequately lit.

If the audition is approved, the conservatory will contact you about setting up an on-campus interview, which will include an in-person audition.
You may either bring your own accompanist if needed or pay the conservatory's accompanist a $20 fee per audition.
Please indicate if you need an accompanist on site.

All music must be memorized, except for auditions for conducting, both for the initial video application and for the in-person audition. The video for the initial audition must show that the performer is performing the music memorized. The selections may be the same for both auditions. There are no time minimums or maximums.
If you cannot arrange an in-person audition, we can set up an internet video conference by which you can perform your audition pieces.

We offer two tracks:
Two Year Certification
The two-year certification will be the equivalent of having a music minor at a college. The requirements for the audition of a two-year certification in performance of any instrument are two contrasting solos of at least three minutes each, and a two-octave scale (one for voice) in any key. For composition, two submissions lasting at least three minutes each, and the same for conducting.
Three Year Certification
The three-year certification will be the equivalent of a music major. The requirements for the audition of a Three-year certification in the performance of any instrument are listed in the link below.
